The Google Spreadsheet is a very influential piece of software, yet it appears most users only find out and use a small part of its possibility. For example, do you know how to move data from one sheet to another? Did you even find it was probable?
Perhaps this is due to the credentials side of things. Google files things very well, yet to know what you are searching for you generally have to go through that documentation. There does not appear to be user-friendly instructions written by Google on how to employ these things. You either know the tech language or get the answer yourself, or you resolve by doing things the way you always did.
So, to reply our unique query, there are two methods to share data between sheets. You can either use a sheet script, or you can employ in-line cell functionality. As scripting is the more difficult choice, it will be the latter function in place.
One attribute of Google spreadsheets is there is a function known as Import Range that lets you pull data out of single sheet and into a different sheet. This can be truly helpful, if for instance you have a spreadsheet that you are using to team up with others, and then anywhere along the line you want another individual to be able to look some of the data in the sheet, but not all of it.
